Short Film Stars

If you're reading this you probably already know that my wife, Leilani and I have started a new band called Dear Ocean. We've decided to make a bit of a genre change and move away from the synth/ noise pop of Tic Tic Boom!. After trying several different approaches we've landed on a sound that makes us both happy. Stars is the 2nd track that we've finished and we're both super proud of how it turned out. We plan to do a proper release soon. For now you can stream and purchase it here: www.dearocean.com

We were also were lucky enough to be a part of the short film, Ben Is Dead by up and coming film maker, Lisa J Dooley. The first Dear Ocean song, Silence (below) was featured as the end title credit music. Ben Is Dead was Dooley's USC MFA thesis film. We were honored to be a part of something that was such huge part of another artist's life. Congrats Lisa, and thank you for letting us be a part of the film!
