Dear Ocean

One of my favorite things I get to do as a human being, is create music with my wife, Leilani. To be able to have a partner that pushes me personally, as an engineer and as an artist means more to me than anyone could ever imagine.

As many of you know, we worked very hard for many years as Tic Tic Boom!. We saw network TV syncs, were SXSW and CMJ official artists, had adds on over 120 college radio stations including KCRW and made many meaningful relationships along the way. All of it was amazing and a lot of fun. But with also trying to plan a wedding, we felt it was more important to focus on our personal lives for a minute.

It was never our intention to take so much time off . . . but sometimes life happens. Sometimes you just need a break! In that time, we have both grown as individuals and changed as artists. When we started writing again, we realized we wanted to create a new project that was a bit of a departure from TTB! and something that we felt represented where we were in our own lives.
